ALFONSO MARINA FLAGSHIP STORE

The renovated space serves as an entry point to various underground areas, designed to immerse visitors in a sensory experience marked by light, textures, and scales, showcasing Alfonso Marina's iconic pieces. The stone façade functions as a dynamic canvas capturing the dance of light and shadows, embodying a temple of craftsmanship and tradition. Inside, a warm rhythm is established by a wood ceiling and walls framing a staircase.

As visitors descend, the design employs shadows and dark materiality to create anticipation, leading to the main gallery. Meandering transitions into the Museum space, with volumes and voids generating layers of light, framing niches and openings. Angled perspectives offer ever-changing views, enhancing the dynamic atmosphere. The design workshop, the initial space, provides a panoramic view of the main gallery;  featuring different platforms and landings, showcases the primary exhibit pieces. Articulating elements like staircases and bridges connect secondary spaces dedicated to traditional exhibits.

Through meticulous use of light, materials, and thoughtful design, the space achieves a harmonious balance, exemplifying the craft of fine furniture making and creating sensory environments.
