The design of the house prioritizes a deep understanding of the site, focusing on creating a sensory experience through its spatial arrangement. The layout organizes spaces based on their required openness, with a central circulation axis that separates and frames views towards the north garden. This results in a facade of solid volumes that conceal the access portal, approached via platforms through a sloping lawn.
Upon entering, a transitional axis reveals a sequence of light-carved spaces leading to the public area, where walls dissolve into panoramic views of the garden and golf course. The ground floor circulation extends to the upper levels, providing a two-story spatial experience.
Water elements, including reflecting pools and a swim lane, enhance the house’s connection with its surroundings, constantly reflecting light onto the ceilings and walls. The material palette—chukum plaster, marble, and wood—emphasizes simplicity and texture, while wood screens cast shifting shadows that interact with natural light and greenery.
The landscape design integrates greenery around terraces and balconies, filtering access and enhancing the house’s connection to its environment. This creates a luxurious yet simple atmosphere where light, water, and shadow contribute to a timeless character.
