Tesoro Tulum is a tranquil retreat featuring three leisure villas thoughtfully designed to merge with Tulum’s natural landscape. The design emphasizes preserving the natural terrain by vertically organizing the villas across multiple levels, reducing the construction footprint and ensuring harmony with the surrounding environment.

The architectural concept highlights the connection between built spaces and nature. Screen-like walls and strategically placed openings filter natural light and frame views of the trees, creating a delicate play of light and shadow. These elements are carefully designed to let the villas blend with the landscape, allowing the architecture to coexist peacefully with its natural surroundings.

The project’s tectonic approach features custom-made masonry blocks and exposed concrete in a variety of forms, from solid to patterned and perforated units. This variation in texture and transparency creates thresholds that filter light while generating a dynamic spatial experience within the villas. The perforated blocks, in particular, act as intricate filters, casting delicate patterns of light and shadow throughout the interiors, enhancing the sensory experience of those inside.
